Tanya Mittal, who claimed to have ties to the Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh tourism administrations, was embroiled in controversy earlier this year after her remarks regarding the Pahalgam terror attack went viral. She had stated that “terrorism has no religion” in a video that was later removed from her social media accounts. The Bigg Boss 19 competitor received a lot of criticism for her comments. Nevertheless, that did not deter her.
“I was traveling and making videos just 48 hours after the controversy happened,” Tanya Mittal told Hindustan Times. I wasn’t really impacted by it. I am aware of my reality. Uss din burayi jeet jaati hai (If goodness must show itself, then evil wins) agar acchai ko apni achai sabit karne nikalna padta hai. You are a decent person, so make sure I am too, and go out of the location where people don’t appreciate your kindness.”
“Kisi ne mere baarein main kuch kaha,” she said, “and they thought I was a misfit. (Someone muttered something about me and thought I was a misfit.) How can they deny that we worked together for eight months? Can they, however, ignore the fact that we had been collaborating for eight months after saying that? They have just demonstrated that nobody stands by one another at trying times. And since we are now more active in other states as well, I am glad they left me. Is there anything preventing me from doing this?
Tanya shared a video of the Pahalgam incident in south Kashmir in April, which claimed the lives of 26 tourists. “Anything on this topic is sensitive and important to me,” she stated. Terrorism and terrorists are discussed in the media. However, I do not believe that terrorism is religious.

Social media users reacted negatively to Tanya’s comments, with some claiming that she was employed by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism department. “Please note that Ms. Tanya Mittal is not associated with MP Tourism in any capacity,” the department said later.
