Before becoming a successful actor, Deepika Padukone began her career as a model after relocating to Mumbai in the early 2000s. In a recent interview, he stated that he had dated Deepika for two years when she had recently relocated to Mumbai. Muzammil revealed that because they were just starting out, they didn’t have a lot of money and would ride in rickshaws to dates. But two years later, Muzammil ended their relationship.
“We were in a relationship for two years,” Muzammil revealed in a conversation with Siddharth Kannan. He went on to say that Deepika met him in Mumbai for the first time. He responded, “She was very confident because she is Prakash Padukone’s daughter so everyone knew about her,” when questioned about her personality during those years. Additionally, Muzammil disclosed that although Deepika had asked him out, he was the one who ended their relationship.

When questioned whether they still communicate, Muzammil revealed that they haven’t since she married Ranveer Singh in 2019. He revealed that they gradually grew close after their breakup because they would occasionally congratulate one another on their accomplishments. “Before she got married, we would talk sometimes,” he stated.
The actor-model said, “We were kids then,” recalling such times. In the rain, we would travel on dates in rickshaws. That was adorable. I had started making more money, so I had more than she had. She was thrilled when I later purchased an automobile. These events stand out in my memory because we were ecstatic despite our lack of funds, and I haven’t gone on a date in a rickshaw since.

He remembered making sure her favorite song was played repeatedly by the DJ on her birthday. Because I was acquainted with the DJ, she would play the music she loved even if she had no money. Since it was her birthday, he played that song nonstop for an hour and a half,” he revealed.
