Munawar Faruqui, the winner of Bigg Boss OTT, reacted to Elvish Yadav’s recent arrest in Noida. Elvish, a fellow YouTuber, was arrested in connection with a snake venom case on Sunday. Munawar, when approached by the media at a shoot location shortly after the arrest, appeared unaware of the incident. He mentioned that his phone was switched off, leading to his disconnection from the unfolding events.
“I have no idea about this matter. My phone was off,” Munawar stated, showing his switched-off phone and explaining that its battery had died. His remarks were reported by The Times of India. Munawar was reportedly shooting for a special performance for an upcoming Holi event at the time.

Munawar’s reaction follows Elvish’s recent video apology to fans for hugging Munawar at the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) 2024. Elvish addressed those who criticized him as a “traitor” for the gesture, expressing regret to anyone offended and emphasizing his religious values.
Elvish clarified that he does not consider Munawar as a brother or friend and asserted his unwavering commitment to his religion. “I can sacrifice thousands of Munawar over my religion. I do not consider him as my friend or brother,” Elvish emphasized, stating his stance on camera.
