A day after the anniversary of her birth, actress Janhvi Kapoor made a poignant homage to her late mother, Sridevi. The ‘Param Sundari’ actress reflected on their happy times together and said that her mother’s memory has always been a part of her life.

Janhvi shared old pictures of herself with Sridevi on Instagram. Photographs from Janhvi’s most recent trip to Tirupati were used to enhance the pictures. For her spiritual visit, she wore traditional South Indian jewelry and a stunning blue half-saree. It said, “Happy Birthday, Mumma, every step with your name in my heart.” Followers showed their love and support for this post in spades.

Khushi Kapoor, Janhvi’s sister and another star, also posted a collage of old photos of Sridevi earlier on August 13.

Boney Kapoor, their father, related a story about Sridevi’s 27th birthday. He recalled, “I wanted to make her feel younger, so I wished her a happy 26th birthday at her birthday celebration in Chennai in 1990, even though it was her 27th birthday. She believed I was making fun of her, even though it was a praise that she was becoming younger every day.

Sridevi was the first female superstar in Indian cinema. The late actress’s ability to enthrall audiences with her versatility created an enduring impression on the film business, with her roles appearing in films in several Indian languages. She drowned accidentally in Dubai in February 2018.
