Nawazuddin Siddiqui was recently questioned if he would mind dancing at weddings and parties in an interview with All About Eve on their YouTube channel. The amazing actor’s remark, which has since gone viral, was too direct. The actor revealed that it is their profession and referred to all performers as Bh**nds. There was nothing wrong with it, he added.

He qouted, “Log boltey hai ki star log jaakey dance kartey hai parties mei, wedding mei. Toh kya hua kartey hai toh? Wahi toh profession hai unka. Bh**nd hi toh hai hum. Ismey kya problem hai.”

During the same discussion, Nawaz described how, in the past, Bh**nds were not permitted to interact with the general public. They would only be permitted to enter for a performance, after which they would have to leave, he added. He went on to say that this was due to their open-mindedness and refusal to adhere to conventions or regulations.

He said, “Pehle kya hota tha ki nautanki waghera hoti thi na, cinema se pehle, toh in logo ko, Bh**nd logo ko na, sheher se bahar rakha jaata tha, tent mei. Ki aao show karo aur challey jao. Sheher mei society mei aane ki koi zaroorat nahi hai aapko. Yeh hota tha. Woh nahi rakhtey the society ke beech mei. Later in the discussion, Nawazuddin described how the times had changed, recalling that actors now had more money and wore nicer clothes. They no longer enjoy being called Bh**nds, he said. But not much has changed in the profession since then.

Problem ye ho gaya hai ki, Bh**nd logo ko ki society mei bhi rehna chahatey hai aur ye dance aur fungiri bhi chalti rehti hai unki. Kyuki koi bolta hai unko toh dukh hota hai, but profession toh yahi tha na.”
