In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Parineeti Chopra shared insights about her husband, Raghav Chadha’s reaction to her role in the film. She revealed that Raghav, whom she met during the filming process, expressed enthusiasm for her portrayal of Amarjot Kaur, given his familiarity with the legacy of Chamkila and Amarjot as a Punjabi.

Parineeti recounted Raghav’s excitement, often exclaiming about the potential success of the film. Despite his enthusiasm, Parineeti jokingly urged him not to jinx it, reflecting the cautious optimism surrounding the project.

The actress also disclosed her family’s reaction to her live singing on set, a departure from her usual practice of dubbing in the studio. Their astonishment at her musical abilities added to the memorable experience of filming Amar Singh Chamkila.

Furthermore, Parineeti revealed a new interest in politics since marrying Raghav Chadha, acknowledging that she feels compelled to stay informed now. However, she humorously noted that her husband’s lack of interest in entertainment poses a challenge for her.
