Parineeti Chopra, who previously talked about the struggles she faced as a child, was raised in Ambala with her parents. One of the most beloved celebs, the actress has been leading a happy life with her spouse, politician and actor Raghav Chadha. The actress claims that, in contrast to the opulent lifestyle she currently leads, things were not always this way.
In a recent interview with Mashable Middle East, Parineeti Chopra talked about how her parents instilled in her a positive outlook that enabled her to adapt to any situation. The actress disclosed that her parents were having financial difficulties and that she had virtually little growing up. Because her parents couldn’t afford a real cake, she disclosed that even on her birthday, they would bring her a piece of rasgulla or rasmalai, which she would cut as a birthday cake. She said: “I have seen struggle of my parents where they used to not have money for a birthday cake for me and my dad used to go to the market and buy one piece of rasgulla, just a piece not a kilo, one piece of rasgulla or rasmalai and we used to cut that rasmalai like a birthday cake.”
Parineeti Chopra disclosed in the same interview that her grandparents used to lead an opulent life in Kenya, while her parents were struggling in Ambala. She went on to say that she would enjoy the luxurious lifestyle by spending two months with them each summer. Parineeti added that she and her brothers were incredibly adaptable as a result of this arrangement. One way to quote her is: “My grandparents, who used to live in Kenya, they were very affluent. So I used to go from Ambala, where we had almost nothing, and I used to go and live this luxurious life for 2 months every year because I used to go for my summer vacations. Because of that me and both my brothers, I feel we can adjust anywhere with anybody. We can make friends with anybody.
