Just days after delivering her daughters, she experienced excruciating pain in her arm, which led to the discovery of three lumps. Fearing the worst, Rubina reached out to her doctor, who reassured her that it was due to milk saturation in the ducts. Advised to massage them to alleviate the discomfort, Rubina candidly shared the challenges she faced, including the fear of potential surgery.
The actress further discussed the process of teaching her children to latch onto the nipple, a task accompanied by tears and pain. Sugandha Mishra chimed in, emphasizing the normalcy of delayed lactation and the importance of not pressuring new mothers. Sharing Ishita Dutta’s experience, Rubina highlighted the variations in breastfeeding journeys, reassuring mothers that alternative methods, like expressing milk, are perfectly acceptable.
Rubina also opened up about the physical toll of breastfeeding, revealing that initially, her nipples would bleed. Despite the hardships, she persevered, applying creams and massaging to prevent milk duct blockages.
