Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been making headlines for quite some time now, particularly after producer Rajan Shahi made a significant decision. The production recently announced the termination of Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe, who portrayed the roles of Armaan and Abhira respectively. Their dismissal was attributed to unprofessional behavior, with the official statement citing Shehzada’s mistreatment of staff and Pratiksha’s inadequate performance.

Reports surfaced alleging that Shehzada and Pratiksha were romantically involved and often spent excessive time together in the makeup room, leading to delays in shooting. It was also suggested that Pratiksha emulated Shehzada’s behavior, further exacerbating the situation.

Following their termination, Rohit Purohit and Garvita Sadhwani were introduced as the new Armaan and Ruhi/Roohi, receiving acclaim from viewers for their performances. However, it’s worth noting that before Shehzada Dhami, another actor was offered the role of Armaan.

Speaking to Telly Masala, Farman Haider, known for his role in Saavi Ki Savaari, revealed that he was initially offered the role of Armaan in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. However, he declined the offer as he had already committed to another show, Aaina. Despite being approached again after Shehzada’s termination, Farman remained committed to his ongoing project.

Farman expressed his willingness to join Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai if given another opportunity in the future. Regarding the controversy surrounding Shehzada and Pratiksha, Farman emphasized that only the actors and the production team are privy to the truth, urging others not to pass judgment without full knowledge of the situation.
