Amitabh Bachchan son-in-law and Shweta Bachchan Nanda’s husband, Nikhil Nanda, has been in hot water. According to reports, a FIR has been filed at the Dataganj police station against eight people, including Nikhil Nanda, CEO of Escorts Kubota Limited, for allegedly aiding suicide and engaging in fraud, in violation of a court order in Badaun, Uttar Pradesh.

Eight people are named in the FIR, including the company’s UP head, its area and sales managers, and a Shahjahanpur dealer. A resident of Papad Hamjapur hamlet named Gyanendra Singh lodged the complaint at the Dataganj police station, according to a story in the Navbharat Times. According to him, his brother Jitendra Singh owned and operated Jai Kisan Traders, a tractor dealership.

Gyanendra claimed that a number of people, including the company’s area manager Ashish Baliyan, sales manager Sumit Raghav, UP head Dinesh Pant, financier collection officer Pankaj Bhaskar, sales manager Amit Pant, sales head Neeraj Mehra, CEO Nikhil Nanda (Amitabh Bachchan’s son-in-law), and Shahjahanpur dealer Shishant Gupta, put pressure on his brother Jitendra to increase tractor sales.

According to reports, Jitendra Singh was subjected to ongoing harassment and threats from the agency’s officers and accused staff, who put pressure on him to increase sales or risk having his firm shut down. If Jitendra’s sales didn’t improve, the officials allegedly threatened to cancel his dealership license and put his property up for auction. Jitendra told his family about the harassment he was experiencing since he was feeling so overwhelmed by the ongoing pressure.

The officers allegedly made their last visit to Jitendra’s agency on November 21 in an attempt to intimidate him. He tragically committed suicide on November 22, 2024, as a result of his deep sadness brought on by this constant stress.

His family complained soon after he passed away, but nothing was done about it at the time. Krishna Kumar Tiwari of the Dataganj police station, however, informed the portal that a FIR has been filed against the company’s CMD Nikhil Nanda and a number of other people, including the UP head, area manager, sales manager, Shahjahanpur dealer, and three additional people, for allegedly contributing to Jitendra’s suicide in accordance with court orders.
