With his solo play Besharam Aadmi, Amol Parashar has returned to the theater after a ten-year hiatus and is enjoying the success of Gram Chikitsalay. Rumors regarding the actor’s purported romance with Bollywood actress Konkona Sensharma have been in the news for a while. When the latter showed up at the Gram Chikitsalay screening event with Amol at her side, the excitement grew. Amol has spoken out amid circulating rumors, jokingly bringing up the secret romance between Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif.

Amol Parashar addressed the persistent relationship rumors involving Konkona Sensharma in a recent interview with Hindustan Times, saying that people began speculating about them without even approaching him. The actor stated that he will discuss his relationship on social media when the time was appropriate, but he did not confirm or deny the dating rumors.

According to a quote from Amol: “Nobody asked me. Instead, everyone started bringing their assumptions to the table. Earlier, I would react to every news, but now I have learnt to just move on. Agar kuch hoga aur mujhe share karna hoga, toh I will share it on social media myself. See, you have people in life. Kisi se aap close hote hain, aur kisi se aap zyaada close hote hain. Naming every relation is not necessary… Aap khush, samne waala khush aur gharwale khush, that’s it!”

In the same chat, Amol compared his hidden connection with Katrina Kaif to that of his co-star in Sardar Udham, Vicky Kaushal, even though he doesn’t think all partnerships should be labeled. Amol recalled their time spent filming Sardar Udham and revealed that Vicky was privately seeing Katrina at the time but was not yet ready to make the public aware of their relationship.

As stated by Amol: “I remember something similar happening with Vicky, and I was like: ‘Bhai, bata do sabko because people are asking me’. And he was like: ‘I will, at the right time’… Logon ko mazaa aa raha hai. Aap karlo kitni bhi acting, views link-up news ko hi milte hain.

When asked about his thoughts on marriage, the 38-year-old actor said that his family had originally encouraged him to get married but had since adapted to his erratic behavior. Amol laughed and said he would like to surprise himself because he is unsure on that front.
