The box office performance of the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Animal is gradually losing momentum. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film experienced a decline in collections on Friday. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, “Animal” gathered Rs 15.93 crore (as of 8 pm) on Friday, bringing its total India collection to Rs 353.51 crore.

While Animal successfully passed the crucial Monday test with a collection of Rs 43.96 crore, it has witnessed a downward trend since then. The film earned Rs 37.47 crore on Tuesday, Rs 30.39 crore on Wednesday, and Rs 24.23 crore on Thursday.

Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor:

Despite the mixed reviews, Ranbir Kapoor starrer has achieved the status of being the second-fastest film to gross Rs 300 crore. Shah Rukh Khan’s “Jawan” holds the top spot, reaching the Rs 300 crore mark in just 5 days. “Animal” shares the second position with “Pathaan,” which also took six days to achieve the Rs 300 crore milestone. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh described “Animal” as sensational, with an extraordinary total in its first week, making it the third-biggest seven-day grosser of all time. It holds the record for the highest seven-day total for a film released on a non-holiday and faced a clash with another film. Additionally, it is the highest-grossing ‘A’ certified film.
