Ankita Lokhande journey after participating in Bigg Boss 17 last year has been marked by intense scrutiny and challenges. Alongside her husband Vikas Jain, she entered the Salman Khan-hosted reality TV show as a contestant. However, their time inside the Bigg Boss house was met with criticism and trolling from viewers, as the show’s pressure often brings out both the best and worst in contestants.

Facing ups and downs during their stint on the show, Ankita and Vicky encountered more criticism than support for their actions and conflicts. Even after leaving Bigg Boss, they struggled to cope with the aftermath, especially due to the strong reactions from netizens. Ankita recently opened up about this in an interview, revealing the toll it took on her mental health.

Speaking to an online Entertainment News portal, Ankita shared how she suffered from anxiety after the show ended. She recounted experiencing sleepless nights and palpitations, eventually realizing that she was grappling with anxiety issues rather than depression. However, with the support of her family and Vicky Jain, she gradually overcame these challenges.

Ankita emphasized the lack of seriousness with which anxiety and depression are often viewed in India. She credited Vicky and her family for helping her through this difficult period and expressed gratitude for returning to her previous self with their support. Despite the tough mental space she found herself in after Bigg Boss, Ankita now prefers not to dwell on those experiences.
