Anuj Kapadia confesses to Shruti about seeking closure from Anupamaa, but Shruti feels upset upon learning that Anuj wasn’t entirely sure about his feelings for her. At the beginning of the episode, Anuj and Anupamaa engage in a heartfelt conversation at the parking lot, mutually agreeing to keep their distance from each other.
Despite agreeing to marry Shruti, Anuj offers a rose to Anupamaa as a birthday gift and apologizes for disrupting her birthday celebration with his wedding invitation. However, Vanraj overhears their conversation and later confronts Anupamaa about her equation with Anuj, leading to a heated exchange between them.
Anupamaa stands her ground against Vanraj’s accusations, asserting that her interactions with Anuj are her personal matter. Meanwhile, Baa informs Anupamaa about Baapuji’s visit, prompting Anu and Kinjal to go out shopping.
After seeking closure with Anu, Anuj returns home to find Shruti helping Aadhya with her studies. The tension between Anuj and Shruti dissipates as they apologize to each other, with Anuj prioritizing Shruti and Aadhya over his past equation with Anu.
