Actor and YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani is well-known for his humorous videos. His distinctive comedic timing, skits, and vlogs have won over 30 million fans to his YouTube channel, Ashish Chanchlani Vines. He recently shocked everyone by posting a picture of himself with Elli AvrRam, the Bigg Boss 7 star, which sparked rumors of their apparent romance. The actor-influencer, however, has since denied any rumors that he could never date Elli.

On July 12, 2025, Ashish Chanchlani posted a picture of herself and Elli AvrRam, leaving everyone wondering if they were dating. Later, it came to light that they are not romantically involved and were merely promoting Chandaniya, their recently released music video. The pair did, however, realize how devoted their followers were after receiving so many well wishes. As a result, Ashish and Elli apologized to their supporters on an Instagram live after the release. Elli said as Ashish thanked their fans for their love: “And to all the congratulatory messages. It actually felt really good to see all those sweet messages.”

Additionally, Ashish Chanchlani disclosed that Elli AvrRam’s parents knew the truth regarding the song video. But a lot of people gave them congratulations. Elli explained that they are not dating and said she wasn’t sure how to handle the responses. Conversely, Ashish made a joke about how “extremely difficult” Elli is, saying:

“This person is not someone I can date. “Kutte ne nahi kata hai mujhe pagal pagal.”

Elli AvrRam clarified in the same discussion that the post wasn’t intended as a practical joke. ‘Finally’ was a reference to the release of their song, Chandaniya, she added. But the people had no control over how they interpreted it. Additionally, Ashish mentioned that media outlets picked up the post once it went viral.

He continued by saying that following that, they made the decision to pull a practical joke, but they realized it was time to stop after observing the audience’s reaction. He was cited as saying: “It blew up once media houses picked it up. My original thought was, ‘Let’s prank,’ because my followers are accustomed to my jokes. However, we didn’t expect it to become this large. It took us two days to realise how far it had gone. My mom’s friend even called to say, ‘Don’t send sweets, I’m not at home.’ That’s when we knew we had to burst the bubble.
