Bhool Chuk Maaf

The first time Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi would appear together on screen is in the movie Bhool Chuk Maaf, directed by Karan Sharma. On Tuesday, the film’s creators released a teaser, giving fans a sneak peek at the intriguing plot. Rajkummar’s character is shown in the teaser stuck in a temporal loop.

Rajkummar and Wamiqa portray lovers who are ready to get married in the film. The two are shown in the teaser sitting with their parents and talking about the date of their wedding. Rajkummar is eager for the wedding to take place on the 30th. The action switches to their haldi ceremony, where Rajkummar’s family members are shown smearing him with haldi while he is beaming. He informs Wamiqa that they will soon become husband and wife and that there is just one day left before their special day.

But when Rajkummar awakens the following morning, he discovers something surprising: the 29th, the day of the haldi ceremony, has not changed. After this pattern is repeated several times, Rajkummar becomes discouraged and depressed.

Produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, the production company seems to be enjoying a successful year after delivering two big hits this year: Vicky Kaushal Chhaava and Akshay Kumar’s Sky Force.
