According to Kashish Kapoor, a contestant on Bigg Boss 18, her chef took ₹7 lakh from her house. Kashish shared how she learned about the theft in a lengthy video on her YouTube channel. Additionally, Kashish disclosed that her chef had abused her at home.
Kashish stated in the video that she had ₹7 lakh in cash at home and intended to transfer it to her mother’s account. Upon inspecting her locker, Kashish discovered that the envelope that held the money was empty. She claimed that she hurried out of her house right away to stop her cook from leaving. According to Kashish, she questioned her cook, but he denied stealing the money on several occasions. She also mentioned that a wad of cash flew out of his pockets when she urged him to do so.
The next thing I know, I’m pressed up against the wall before I can even reach for my phone. “Don’t do anything, don’t tell anyone,” he told me. I’m pinned against the wall in my own home, in my own hallway. ‘Don’t call anybody, don’t tell anybody,’ he says, pinning me down. My first thought at the time was, “You have to protect yourself.” According to Kashish, she requested him to go and promised not to tell anyone.
She then called her security guard right away to try to stop him, but he managed to escape. Kashish remembered running down the stairs from her house on the twentieth level. “I felt sick to my stomach and wanted to throw up while traveling, wondering, ‘What the f*** is happening?'” However, I reminded myself, “F*** it, you have to stop this now; you can die later.” In the video, Kashish sobbed while discussing the incident.
After tricking the cook into returning to her house, Kashish called the police. They filed a formal complaint against the cook at the police station. She said that the cook’s assertion that she had only stolen ₹50000 was false. Although the police have stated that they are looking into the situation, they have not promised that she will receive her money back. Due to work obligations, Kashish is currently in Singapore.
