Since his victory in Bigg Boss OTT 2, Elvish Yadav has found himself embroiled in various controversies, often for the wrong reasons, making headlines for alleged involvement in a drug case and clashes with fellow content creators. Despite these manageable controversies, a recent incident involving Munawar Faruqui has brought significant trouble for the YouTuber, leading him to issue a public apology.
Elvish Yadav and Munawar Faruqui have had indirect conflicts due to their differing religious backgrounds. At a recent charity celebrity match, both participated, and a viral picture of Munawar taking a selfie with Elvish sparked criticism questioning Elvish’s Hindu identity. In response, Elvish clarified that their interaction was cordial and devoid of any conflict.
However, faced with mounting criticism and death threats after the viral photo, Elvish issued a public apology titled ‘I am sorry.’ He expressed that his religion is a top priority, and he wouldn’t hesitate to sacrifice even thousands of Munawars to uphold it.
As of now, Munawar Faruqui has not responded to Elvish’s apology. It remains to be seen if the Bigg Boss 17 winner will address the situation or remain silent.
