Popular C.I.D. actor Dinesh Phadnis, renowned for portraying Fredericks in the show, has passed away at the age of 57. He breathed his last on Monday at 12:08 am at Thunga Hospital in Kandivali.

On December 2, Dinesh Phadnis was admitted to Tunga Hospital in Mumbai, with reports indicating critical condition after a cardiac arrest. Dayanand Shetty clarified in a conversation with Pinkvilla that his co-actor did not suffer a heart attack; instead, he was hospitalized due to liver damage.

Dayanand shared that Dinesh Phadnis was undergoing treatment for a different ailment affecting his liver, emphasizing the importance of careful medication. Regarding Dinesh Phadnis’ last rites, they are scheduled for today, December 5. In an interview with ETimes TV, Dayanand Shetty, a friend and co-star, confirmed the actor’s passing, stating that he indeed is no more. Additionally, Dayanand mentioned being present at Phadnis’ residence when he passed away around 12:08 am.
