The trailer for their daughter Shanaya Kapoor’s first movie, Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, was released Tuesday in Mumbai, and Bollywood star Sanjay Kapoor and his wife Maheep Kapoor were present. Sanjay broke down and became emotional during the occasion as he talked about how anxious he was for his daughter to make her Bollywood debut.
Sanjay was summoned on stage to discuss his opinions on Shanaya’s debut in a video from the occasion that went popular on social media. The movie’s main hero, Vikrant Massey, received a firm embrace from the actor. When Sanjay added, “Main pichle 30 saal se kaam kar raha hoon, but itna nervous nahi raha,” he was seen holding back tears. Aaj main is really anxious. “Usse pehle ke kuch aansoon nikal jaaye, thank you” (During my thirty years of employment, I have never felt this anxious). I’m really anxious today. In the video, Vikrant was dapper in a formal black suit, while Shanaya looked lovely in a yellow corset saree for the occasion. At the trailer event, Sanjay wore a black shirt and matching pants for a more laid-back style. Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan:
Regarding her career, Shanaya was prepared to make her feature film debut in Bedhadak, but it was postponed. She is now making her screen debut alongside Vikrant in Santosh Singh’s Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, which is written by Mansi Bagla and directed by Singh. On July 11, the movie, which is based on Ruskin Bond’s short story The Eyes Have It, will be released in theaters. Alongside Adarsh Gourav, Shanaya will also appear in Bejoy Nambiar’s Tu Yaa Main, which is scheduled for release in 2026.
