The wife of Bollywood star Govinda, Sunita Ahuja, recently aroused rumors when she added an extra “S” to her Instagram account, “Sunita,” and deleted the “Ahuja” part. Fans quickly questioned whether the pair was about to get divorced, but Sunita has now explained that it was for numerological reasons rather than marital problems.
“I added an extra S in my first name and removed Ahuja,” she told the Times of India, adding that she made the change almost a year ago solely for positive energy. The sole reason for doing it was numerology. Who doesn’t want to be famous and well-known?
She agreed that this change had been successful, pointing to the recent viral buzz she had received. Sunita emphasized that the alteration was only done to her Instagram account and that she is still an Ahuja in real life, saying, “I am an Ahuja, and that won’t change.” Only once I’m gone from this planet will I stop using the surname,” she said.
Additionally, Sunita addressed the circulating divorce rumors that intensified when she deleted her last name. She flatly denied them in open interviews and defended her marriage. She called the rumors unfounded and reiterated her relationship with Govinda in an interview with Times Now, saying, “Govinda would never leave his family for any stupid guy or stupid woman.Rumor, rumor, rumor—start by determining whether it’s true. I will never be able to accept it.
She alluded to challenges throughout the years in a different Deccan Talks interview, stating, “Pata nahi kis ki nazar lag gayi,” implying external demands, but she also said that their love and loyalty persisted.
In response to reports about Govinda’s purported previous indiscretions, Sunita said that handling “link-up rumors” wasn’t simple, but she maintained her composure despite the fact that her trust had been impacted.
