Desi BLINKs, are you ready for a shock? BLACKPINK, the biggest K-pop girl group, is said to be bringing its K-pop magic to the world’s largest stadium, Narendra Modi Stadium, located in the Vallabhbhai Patel Sports Complex in Ahmedabad. The stadium seats 132,000 people. If the reports are accurate, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa will perform in India for three days in a row. However, no dates have been provided.
Desi BLINKs couldn’t contain their excitement when this news was revealed on X (previously Twitter), commenting, “They are going to sell this stadium out every single night if that’s true.” A different post stated, “I really want them to perform there; it will be iconic, and I believe they will be able to fill it.” One more BLINK said, “If this is happening, I am booked!” However, some were doubtful of the fan base in India, saying, “India doesn’t have a concert culture; it won’t succeed,” and “I fear BLACKPINK doesn’t have enough fans in India.” While some BLINKs are crossing their fingers, others remain skeptical. But one thing is certain: whenever the concert happens, BLACKPINK will rock.
BLACKPINK has announced their 2025 world tour dates, with stops in ten cities. The tour will begin with two consecutive concerts at Goyang Stadium in South Korea. The group’s next stops are planned to be Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, Paris, Milan, Barcelona, and London. They will continue their tour beginning July 5, 2025, with the last leg taking place at the Tokyo Dome from January 16 to 18, 2026.
