In his social media announcement of this devastating news, Ravish disclosed that he and Mugdha had been apart for a year. Ravish disabled the post’s comment section and even cautioned followers against falling for untrue rumors and claims. The actor explained that he and Mugdha had considered their options.

Ravish Desai posted a message on their social media account on April 5, 2025, announcing their separation. It said, “Mugdha and I made the decision to separate as husband and wife in order to follow our individual paths after giving it a lot of thought. It has now been over a year. Together, we have traveled a wonderful path filled with friendship, love, and respect that will last the rest of our lives.

“We ask our cherished fans, well-wishers, and the media to be kind and supportive and give us the privacy we need to heal,” the actor added in the post. Please don’t trust any untrue statements or stories. I appreciate your affection and help.

For those who do not know, Ravish Desai and Mugdha Chaphekar first crossed paths in 2014 while working on the Satrangi Sasural television series. On January 30, 2016, following two years of romance, the couple became engaged. Ravish and Mugdha were married on December 16 of that year. The pair has split up after nine years of marriage. Mugdha has not yet discussed their breakup, even though Ravish posted this statement announcing it.
