Disha Salian, the former manager of Sushant Singh Rajput, died on June 8, 2020. Her father, Satish Salian, asserted nearly five years later that his daughter was murdered rather than committing suicide. After claiming that she had no injuries associated with falling from a building’s fourteenth storey, the father made the assertions.

In an interview with Arnab Goswami, Editor-in-Chief of Republic Media Network, Satish Salian revealed the devastating news of his daughter Disha’s passing. Nilesh Ojha, the petitioner and advocate in Disha’s case, added that Satish had been doubting the case for a while because, despite the fatal fall, there was no blood on Disha’s clothing or the floor. Additionally, he disclosed that there were no facial, head, or torso injuries—all of which ought to be present in such a situation. According to Satish Salian: “Looking at the investigation, I think it was a murder. There were no injuries that should occur when a body falls from such a height. We should notice how there were no injuries on her body after falling from such a height and how it was so clean.”

Nilesh further stated that other injuries, including a head injury, were noted in the post-mortem report but were not apparent on Disha’s body at the time of her last rites. Satish alleged that his daughter had been brutally raped and killed, and that a politically orchestrated cover-up had been carried out to shield some powerful individuals, according to a PTI story.

During the same discussion, Arnab questioned Satish about why he had adopted a different position on the case in 2022. In response, Satish clarified that he was coerced into believing everything the police told him, even though he was not under any obligation to make such a declaration. Satish responded that he originally trusted the police when they informed him it was suicide because he believed they were telling the truth when he was questioned whether he had any doubts about their involvement in the case.

Advocate Nilesh Ojha went on to say that everytime Satish talks about his daughter, he gets emotional. According to an affidavit, Satish was under the psychological virtual custody of Aaditya Thackeray’s accomplices and Rohan Rai, the fiancé of Disha Salian. Additionally, it was said that he was contacted by Mayor Kishori Pednekar, who urged him to lodge a complaint against Nitesh Rane and Narayan Rane in order to save his daughter’s reputation.
