Bollywood actor-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut has emerged victorious in the Lok Sabha elections from the Mandi constituency in Himachal Pradesh. Celebrating her win, Kangana took to Instagram to declare her support for PM Narendra Modi and express her gratitude.

Promise to Leave Bollywood

Kangana had previously announced that she would leave Bollywood if she won the election from Mandi. With a decisive victory, she defeated her rival, Vikramaditya Singh of the Congress, by a margin of 74,755 votes.

Jibe at Opposition

Following her win, Kangana shared a cartoon on Instagram mocking the opposition coalition I.N.D.I.A, referring to them as ‘40 chor’—a nod to the 40 thieves from the tale of Ali Baba. She praised PM Modi, stating, “Ek akela sab pe bhari,” highlighting Modi’s strength against the united opposition.

Kangana also shared a video on her official X page (formerly Twitter) in which she is seen signing official documents. She captioned it “Mandi ki sansad,” thanking her supporters and constituents for their trust and support.

In her posts, Kangana expressed deep gratitude to the people of Mandi for electing her. She acknowledged their support and vowed to work diligently for the betterment of her constituency.

Kangana’s transition from Bollywood to politics has been notable. She made her film debut with “Gangster” and was last seen in the movie “Tejas.” Her upcoming project, “Emergency,” will see her portray the role of Indira Gandhi.
