The legendary actress previously revealed in an interview with Pinkvilla that her husband had admitted to her that he had an affair and that he had grown fond of a girl in the United States. Despite her happy marriage to Mayur Madhvani, Mumtaz experienced her share of hardships, including three or four miscarriages and a challenging pregnancy. Mumtaz recalled the difficult time in her life, when she was instructed to stay in bed all day following two consecutive losses. She only got up to use the restroom and lay flat on the bed the rest of the day. She required hormone injections in the morning and medications in the evening due to her severe condition.
