The buzz surrounding “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai” has been dominating social media lately, with discussions revolving around the longest-running show on television. Recently, Rajan Shahi and his team made headlines by terminating two actors from the show, Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe. The official statement cited Shehzada’s mistreatment of staff on set and Pratiksha’s alleged lack of professionalism as reasons for their termination. Reports emerged suggesting that Shehzada and Pratiksha were romantically involved and often spent excessive time together in the makeup room, causing delays in shoot schedules. Additionally, it was rumored that Pratiksha blindly followed Shehzada’s lead and exhibited rude behavior.

Following the termination, the makers swiftly introduced Rohit Purohit and Garvita Sadhwani as the new faces portraying Armaan and Ruhi/Roohi. The release of their promotional material sparked conversations among fans about these fresh additions to the cast. However, Shehzada and Pratiksha faced considerable online backlash due to the negative reports surrounding them.

Shivam Khajuria, who essays the role of Rohit in the show, expressed his opinion on the matter. He acknowledged Pratiksha’s potential but suggested that she may have been led astray. Furthermore, he confirmed rumors of Shehzada’s misconduct on set. The backlash against Shehzada and Pratiksha intensified in the aftermath of these revelations.

Paras Kalnawat, known for his role as Samar in “Anupamaa,” also weighed in on the situation. Drawing from his own experience of being terminated from “Anupamaa” for signing another show on a rival channel, Paras emphasized the detrimental impact of the term “termination” on an actor’s career. He condemned the label as derogatory and highlighted its implications for an actor’s professional reputation.

Paras urged Shehzada and Pratiksha to address the situation publicly. He emphasized the importance of accountability and suggested that if they were indeed at fault, a public apology to Rajan Shahi would be appropriate. Conversely, if they believed themselves innocent, Paras encouraged them to share their perspective and defend their actions.

Reflecting on his own experience, Paras lamented the lack of unity among actors within the industry. He recalled how none of his co-stars from “Anupamaa” supported him when he faced termination, and he anticipated a similar response from the cast of “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai” towards Shehzada and Pratiksha.
