Recently, Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar revealed some startling information. Initially, they had disclosed that Dipika had a liver tumor the size of a tennis ball. She has stage two liver cancer, it was later discovered. She posted this information on Instagram.

She wrote, “As you all are aware last few weeks have been quite difficult for us… walking into the hospital for a pain in the upper area of my stomach… and then finding out its a tennis ball size tumour in the liver and then Finding out that the tumour is Second stage Malignant (Cancerous) … it has been one of the most difficult time we have seen , experienced! I am all positive and determined to face this and walk out stronger InshAllah! ”

She added that her family is by her side and is helping her. She urged her followers to offer prayers for her. Surgery to remove the tumor was later planned, but it was postponed since she was infected. She did, however, undergo a 14-hour surgery yesterday. Shoaib Ibrahim requested fans to pray for her and gave them an update on the surgery.

He has now provided an update regarding the surgery. He has told his admirers that the 14-hour procedure went smoothly. But Dipika Kakar remains in the intensive care unit. “Hello everyone,” Shoaib wrote. I apologize for not updating you last night; the procedure was lengthy. She spent 14 hours in overtime. But thank God, everything went smoothly. Now, Dipi is in the intensive care unit. Although she is stable and doing well, she does experience some pain. I sincerely appreciate all of your love, prayers, and support, Dil Se. After she leaves the intensive care unit, I’ll keep you all informed. Again, thank you. Continue to pray for her.
