Irrfan Khan’s son, Babil Khan, is forging his own path in the industry, distinguishing himself from other star kids. Unlike many, he doesn’t frequent Bollywood parties or try to fit in with industry circles. In a recent interview with MensXP, Babil addressed his absence from such events, attributing it to not being a typical star kid.
He emphasized his father’s unique persona and his own individuality, stating, “Because I am not a star kid. Baba was not a contemporary star from any angle.” He further explained that his choice to avoid parties is partly due to social anxiety and a preference for solitude. Babil unconventional approach reflects the influence of his father and mother on his upbringing.
During the interview, Babil also reminisced about meeting Shah Rukh Khan during his father’s shoot for “Billu Barber.” Despite being starstruck, he fondly recalled how he spontaneously hugged Shah Rukh Khan’s leg without realizing his celebrity status. This anecdote highlights his genuine interactions and down-to-earth nature.
