The eagerly anticipated trailer for Sikandar, Salman Khan’s next Eid movie, has been released. The video, which was directed by AR Murugadoss, promises a full-fledged masala actioner that will be released on 70mm screens on March 30. Sathyaraj, Kajal Aggarwal, and Rashmika Mandanna play important parts in the movie as well. Similar to the teaser, the three-minute-38-second video emphasizes two elements: dramatic action and dialoguebaazi, which are evocative of Hindi films from the 1980s and 1990s. Salman is a murderous machine who is determined to combat injustice. Rashmika portrays Salman’s romantic interest, while Sathyaraj seems to be playing the part of a dishonest politician.

The ‘Wanted’ board features Salman’s picture at the start of the trailer. He is referred to as “Rajkot ka Raja,” “Raja Sahab,” “Sanjay Sahab,” and “Sikandar Sahab,” as we soon discover. After that, he relocates to Mumbai from Rajkot and adopts Sathyaraj’s persona. Why is he fighting, though? What catastrophe befalls Sikandar? When Sikandar opens in theaters on March 30, the solutions will be made public.

Sikandar is Murugadoss and Salman Khan’s first joint project. The director had previously helmed Aamir Khan’s 2008 hit film Ghajini. In an interview with PTI, Murugadoss discussed the movie and assured them that Sikandar would be different from Salman’s earlier works. He stated, “The film, however, is distinct from Salman sir’s earlier works. It has a few distinctive features. Like in Ghajini, there was a beautiful love story. Similarly, there’s a husband-and-wife love story in this film.”

The director also emphasized that Sikandar emphasizes the value of family in the midst of life’s chaos in addition to having well-choreographed, big action scenes. He remarked, “Today, people do not have time to spend with their family, whether it is their father, mother, or friends. Our attention is constantly on our work. Despite being a commercial movie, it conveys a lovely message. The entire cast, including Sharman Joshi, Prateik Babbar, Anjini Dhawan, and Jatin Sarna, appeared on a new poster that the filmmakers released just hours before the Sikandar trailer was released.
