Imran Khan, the nephew of Aamir Khan, has long been absent from the Bollywood scene. His final collaboration was Katti Batti, starring Kangana Ranaut. His uncle, Aamir Khan, on the other hand, has forty years of experience in the business and most recently created Laapataa Ladies. To mention a few, Aamir has acted in films such as Dangal, Secret Superstar, Thugs of Hindostan, and Laal Singh Chaddha. Imran, however, expressed his dissatisfaction with his 1990s career and the problems with the Raja Hindustani picture.

Imran talked candidly about Aamir Khan’s impact on both his personal and professional lives in a recent interview with Filmfare. Additionally, he revealed that he did not enjoy all of Aamir’s films, particularly those from the 1990s. For forty years, Aamir has dominated the entertainment sector. Imran revealed that while he like many of his uncle’s films, he had issues with a couple.

He stated, “You know, there are some of his 90s films that have not aged well, and when you look at them through a modern lens, they are kind of problematic. There are moments that are quite uncomfortable. Raja Hindustani, which was a staggering hit, is very uncomfortable to watch. You look at it and you go, ‘This is wrong; we are not supposed to,’ so there are a fair amount of 90s films that are uncomfortable by today’s measures.”

Imran was candid enough to admit that he didn’t enjoy a lot of Aamir’s 1990s films. He revealed that although the plot was successful at the box office, it had flaws. According to his assessment, a lot of the films’ sequences have made Imran feel uneasy and unsuitable by today’s standards. He believed that Aamir’s 1990s films might not be relevant by today’s standards. For those who are unfamiliar, in addition to Aamir, Dharmesh Darshan’s Raja Hindustani starred Karisma Kapoor, Suresh Oberoi, Johnny Lever, Farida Jalal, Navneet Nishan, and Mohnish Behl.
