Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai running for 15 years, remains a favorite among TV viewers, but recent events have stirred headlines. Producer Rajan Shahi and the team made headlines by terminating two actors from the show, Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe, citing unprofessional behavior.

According to the official statement by the makers, Shehzada allegedly mistreated the staff on set, while Pratiksha’s work performance was deemed inadequate. Reports suggested that the two actors, rumored to be in a relationship, frequently delayed shoots by spending excessive time in the makeup room.

It was rumored that Shehzada and Pratiksha advocated for a change in the show’s director, which added to the tension. After enduring the situation for a prolonged period, Rajan Shahi ultimately decided to replace them, announcing Rohit Purohit and Garvita Sadhwani as the new Armaan and Ruhi/Roohi.

Sandeep Rajora, who portrays Madhav Poddar on the show, expressed his views on the termination of Shehzada and Pratiksha. He called the incident unfortunate and hoped they would overcome this setback and progress positively in their careers.

Sandeep acknowledged that issues had accumulated over time, leading to Rajan Shahi’s decision. He praised the warm and respectful atmosphere on the DKP sets, where everyone feels valued.

Regarding the new actors, Rohit and Garvita, Sandeep lauded their performances as Armaan and Ruhi, expressing confidence in their ability to portray their characters admirably.
