Salman Khan, a prominent figure in Bollywood, found himself amidst shocking news when gunfire erupted outside his residence in the early hours of April 14. The incident left not only the superstar and his family but also his fans and friends stunned. However, despite the alarming situation, a close friend of Khan, Zafar Sareshwala, assured the public that the actor and his family remained unaffected and were leading a normal life following the incident.

According to Sareshwala, who spoke to Zoom in a video message, Salman Khan was at home with his family when the firing incident occurred around 5 a.m. He emphasized that Khan’s father, the legendary screenwriter Salim Khan, appeared completely unfazed by the attack and was preparing for his morning walk as usual.

Sareshwala recounted a conversation with Salim Khan, where the latter asserted the importance of maintaining normalcy in the face of such incidents. He commended Mumbai Police for their swift response and lauded their efforts to ensure the safety of Khan and his family.

Mumbai Police reported that two unidentified individuals fired multiple gunshots outside Salman Khan’s residence, with three shots fired at Galaxy Apartments and three shots fired in the air. Heavy police presence was observed outside Khan’s residence in the aftermath of the incident, indicating the seriousness with which the authorities were treating the matter.

Meanwhile, Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde addressed the incident, labeling it as unfortunate and assuring the public that the police were diligently investigating the matter. He pledged to take strict action against those responsible for the attack and instructed the Mumbai Police Commissioner to enhance security measures for Khan and his family.

Moreover, CM Shinde revealed that he personally spoke to Salman Khan following the incident, reassuring him of the government’s support and promising swift action against the perpetrators. The government’s proactive stance in ensuring Khan’s safety highlights the seriousness with which the incident is being treated at the highest levels of authority.
