The producers of Jewel Thief have maintained that the new 2025 movie has no allusions to the 1960s hit, despite the fact that the title sounds similar. After much anticipation for the heist thriller that was announced last year, eager viewers were finally able to see the movie for the first time when Netflix released it on Monday, February 3, along with its list of other upcoming projects.

Speaking about the teaser, it presents Saif Ali Khan as the prototypical con artist, effortlessly switching between many looks and exuding a charm that is reminiscent of his slick and stylish Race series personas. He is the “Jewel thief,” employed by a formidable criminal (Jaideep Ahlawat) to pilfer the African Red Sun, the most elusive diamond in the world. Then, his well-thought-out heist takes a crazy detour. A lethal game of deceit and treachery, this high-stakes race is filled with chaos, twists, and unexpected alliances.
