Junaid Khan, Aamir Khan’s son, made his major theatrical debut with Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s daughter Khushi Kapoor. Their film Loveyapa, directed by Advait Chandan, premiered on May 7. Junaid’s captivating portrayal in the romantic comedy drama has earned him continued praise. Aamir went all out to promote the film, with prominent stars including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and others attending the special screening.
According to Sacnilk.com, Loveyapa, starring Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor, grossed approximately Rs 1.25 crore on its opening day. It had an occupancy rate of approximately 9.56% in Hindi. Loveyapa is projected to see an increase in visitors throughout the first weekend due to word-of-mouth. The picture has received positive reviews from both critics and audiences.
Loveyapa is all about Gen Z love. The film revolves about Gaurav (Junaid) and Baani (Khushi). They love each other and want to marry. But Baani’s father devises a strategy. He asks them to swap phones for 24 hours before deciding to be married. Their whirlwind love tale offers a new perspective on love in the era of Generation Z. BollywoodLife gave Loveyapa three stars out of five.
The review sample reads, “Advait Chandan’s take on modern relationships, particularly between young couples and their phones, is both humorous and enlightening. Initially, he introduces light elements into the plot, with the pair upset with each other for flirting and lying to each other. However, in the second hour, the plot becomes more serious as we see how simple it is to pretend to be someone else online and deceive others.
