On Tuesday, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were seen out to dinner in Bengaluru. A few of the outing’s footage have been making the rounds on social media.

The couple can be seen entering at a Bengaluru eatery in one of the videos. Fans with keen eyes saw that Anushka appeared to have missed Virat’s outstretched hand as she exited the vehicle while holding the door. As they head to the restaurant, Anushka can be seen in the video strolling a little ahead of Virat.

Many users commented on the hand gesture after the video went viral. “Algorithm incorrectly indicated that Anushka did not hold Virat’s hand,” one user said in reference to Kohli’s most recent Instagram story. It was done with no intention whatsoever. “No more hand holding or big grins?” said a different user. Some conjectured that these exchanges would feed gossip about their romance.

This marked the couple’s first public appearance since Kohli addressed the recent Avneet Kaur incident. For those who don’t know, Virat initially liked the photo of Avneet that was posted by a fan page, but he quickly came to despise it.

Virat Kohli:

“I’d like to clarify that while clearing my feed, it appears the algorithm may have mistakenly registered an interaction,” the cricket player added. It was done with no intention at all. Please refrain from making any erroneous assumptions. I appreciate your understanding.
