According to Korean news reports, GOLDMEDALIST, Kim Soo Hyun’s agency, has filed a lawsuit against false rumors and malicious online content pertaining to his purported relationship with the late actress Kim Sae Ron.

According to reports, GOLDMEDALIST has lodged a strong complaint with the appropriate authorities against online users who are accused of posting defamatory content against the well-known Korean celebrity, causing serious damage to Kim Soo Hyun’s reputation both personally and professionally.

“Malicious posts, comments, and false information targeting our artist, Kim Soo Hyun, have been indiscriminately posted and circulated online recently,” stated GOLDMEDALIST in the statement that was made public. Specifically, unfounded rumors and unsubstantiated statements have been circulated time and time again, creating misunderstandings and harming the artist’s reputation.

According to sources, GOLDMEDALIST filed a formal complaint under the Criminal Act and the Information and Communications Network Act on April 14 against individuals who had harmed his reputation.

“Malicious slander, the dissemination of false information, personal attacks, and sexual harassment, which are widespread on online communities and social media, are criminal acts that should not be taken lightly,” according to Kim Soo Hyun’s organization.

Based on active reports from fans regarding malicious actions and our own internal monitoring, we submitted a legal complaint to investigative authorities on April 14 for charges of defamation under the Information and Communications Network Act and for insult under the Criminal Act,” Kim Soo Hyun’s agency adds in regards to their complaint.
